Brewed in the picturesque village of Lucinges in Haute-Savoie, France, the Aligoté Lees beer from Brasserie des Voirons is a blonde ale that stands out for its unique fermentation and aging process. Crafted by vigneron Yann Durieux, this beer undergoes a six-month maturation on the lees of Aligoté, a white grape variety. The lees, rich with character, impart a distinct depth to the beer, complemented by the use of old Burgundian barriques during the aging process.

With a nod to the region's alpine heritage, the pristine water from Voirons, sourced from the same origin as Evian, serves as the foundation for these creative brews. Christophe Grellier, the man behind Brasserie des Voirons, brings a wealth of experience, having worked as a chef in renowned establishments before venturing into brewing. The brewery's commitment to quality is reflected in its organic certification by Nature et Progrès.

Each beer is a testament to craftsmanship, with some varieties aged on the lees of prestigious French wines, while others feature infusions of citrus, berries, wildflowers, or foraged herbs in sandstone amphorae. Bottled without pasteurization or filtration, these beers evolve gracefully over time, offering a compelling and delicious drinking experience.
