Domaine de la Verpaille Crémant de Bourgogne is an exceptional sparkling wine crafted entirely from Chardonnay. This full-bodied, rounded wine boasts rich lemon flavors, remarkable aromatics, elegant bubbles, and sophisticated notes of brioche and toffee. It serves as a superb alternative to Champagne, offering all the qualities of the famed bubbly except for the name. The wine is aged for 18 months before release and has a dosage of 2g/l added, making it truly top-notch.

Owned and operated by Baptiste and Estelle Philippe, Domaine de la Verpaille is a charming estate in the heart of Viré-Clessé, managed by the fifth generation of their family. Specializing in Chardonnay, the vineyards received organic certification in 2006. All their wines undergo 12 months of lees aging before release, imparting a characteristic richness and depth of flavor. The Domaine’s wines are a true reflection of their makers—warm, humble, inviting, honest, and wonderfully delightful.
