Presenting a fantastic value alternative to Sauvignon Blanc, this white wine captures the lively aromas of passion fruit and gooseberry without the characteristic 'cat's pee' or 'tinned asparagus' notes that can sometimes fatigue Sauvignon Blanc enthusiasts. Crafted from a blend of Colombard, Gros Manseng, and Petit Manseng grapes in the Gascony region, situated between Bordeaux and Toulouse, it exhibits a sleek, bright, and clean profile. Beyond the vibrant fruit notes, there's a delightful hint of wet slate, lime, and sugar snap peas, along with Gros Manseng's trademark grapefruit tang. Ideal for the fridge door, this wine offers a refreshing and enjoyable experience, making it a staple for various occasions.

Tasting Notes

One of the best and most consistent estates in central Gascony, this domaine has been owned by the Duffour family since 1955. Michel Duffour, a passionate winemaker, took over in 1973 and spent three decades at the winemaking helm. Michel passed on his knowledge and enthusiasm to his son Nicolas, who has worked at the estate since 2004 and is the current winemaker.
Bright, pale yellow in colour with aromas of exotic white peach, pineapple and nectarine. There are citrus notes on the palate that are enhanced by a lively acidity. This is a refreshing wine with a good weight and a lasting, clean finish.
