Georges Remy Blanc de Noir 2019

This might be the most popular cuvée from this ever-popular producer, and for good reason! The richness is incredible, with a wonderful play of dark fruit in the mid to late palate that is sensational—so rich and mature, yet bursting with energy. The intensity of this wine is remarkable, far beyond what I’ve seen in most wines, let alone from Georges Remy! What’s even more exciting is how much more this wine has to offer. I can’t wait to see how it evolves!

We visited Georges before he had even released a Champagne. Drawn by a bottle of Bouzy Rouge (a red wine from the village of Bouzy), we made our way to his house and discovered a fabulous selection of cuvées. Georges works primarily with Pinot Noir in Bouzy and Tauxières, and he also creates a stunning rosé!

This cuvée is made from 100% Pinot Noir.
