Domaine Georges Glantenay Meursault Les Santenots 2019

Brother and sister, Guillaume and Sarah Glantenay, represent the sixth generation overseeing the family's domaine, taking the reins from their father, Pierre, in 2013. Pierre continues to work the estate's eight hectares of vineyard, with four located in Volnay. Guillaume manages the new cuverie, and Sarah is responsible for sales and marketing. Under Guillaume's direction, there has been an enhancement of elegance and a focus on the purity of fruit in the wines compared to their father's era. Guillaume employs 15 to 20% whole-bunch fermentation to elevate the perfumes and low-toast oak to support, rather than overshadow, these aromatic qualities.
