San Lorenzo Montepulciano d'Abruzzo Casabianca 2014

The winery's history dates back to 1890, situated 20 km from both the Gran Sasso and the sea. This location provides ideal temperature variations and breezes for healthy grape growth. The soil, with its clay-limestone texture and abundant spring water, adds unique characteristics.

San Lorenzo is now the largest family-run winery in Teramo province, with 150 hectares across three hills. Among the vine rows lie three small lakes reflecting the sky.

Vinification: Grapes are destemmed, crushed, and undergo spontaneous fermentation on the lees for 14-20 days. The wine is then aged in stainless steel tanks.

Characteristics: Intense ruby color with fruity aromas, fresh taste, and silky smooth tannins, leading to a persistent aftertaste.
