Bertrand Delespierre Chardonnay Des Terres Amoureuses

The wine boasts a round, creamy nose with soft vanilla, fresh quince, and lemon curd hints. Lateral weight on the palate features soft lemon, pleasant acidity, and a playful texture. Mid to late, it draws forward salinity, suggesting oak play without dominance. Opening up reveals a delightful development of vanilla and a cool, bitter play on the finish enhancing the lemon note.

Established in 1980 by Chantal Delespierre and Didier Bertrand, now run by their children Clemence and Adrien. With 10 hectares in Chamery, Ecueil, Villedommange, and Montre, they create distinctive wines marked by impeccable structure and finesse. A winery we fell in love with in 2017, and our annual visits reflect our admiration.
