Whisky BA Barleywine-Crafted with the finest barleywine malts, including the rich Maris Otter, alongside amber and crystal malts, this beer's journey is a symphony of flavors. Boiled for three hours to caramelize sugars and enhance depth, it then embraced maturation in whisky casks from Girvan and Ben Nevis distilleries. A collaboration with the now-fondly remembered Grumpy Goat in Reading, England, this brew was originally intended for their 10th Birthday. Now, it stands as a tribute. The result is an amber ale with a quaffable allure, boasting notes of caramelized dates, toffee, oak, vinous tannin, and a velvety whisky finish. Here's to the memory of Grumpy Goat!
