Crafted from 100% Riesling grapes sourced from the volcanic soils of Staro Hora and Rybnik vineyards in Brhlovce, Nitra, Slovakia, The United Cellars of Tekov introduces a groundbreaking collaboration by winemakers Marek and Jan. This cooperative venture focuses on creating exceptional natural wines, utilizing surplus fruit from their own vineyards and those of their friends. The grapes undergo meticulous processes, from hand-harvesting to a three-day skin fermentation, followed by a natural fermentation in tanks. The juice matures on fine lees for 7 months, resulting in a remarkable wine. With vibrant and textured characteristics, the wine unfolds flavors of tangerine, quince, bergamot, and heather honey.
