About the Brewery.

Some breweries spend years carefully building a reputation. Tiny Rebel arrived, won Champion Beer of Britain surprisingly early in its life and immediately made things much louder.

Founded in Newport in 2012, the brewery became one of the defining names in modern Welsh craft beer. The branding has always been playful, occasionally chaotic and generally impossible to mistake for anyone else. Thankfully the beer usually backs it up.

The range covers everything from approachable session beers through to heavily hopped IPAs, pastry stouts and experimental seasonal releases. Clwb Tropica remains the flagship for many drinkers. Packed with tropical fruit character and soft bitterness, it became one of the beers most responsible for introducing modern craft styles to a wider UK audience.

What keeps Tiny Rebel relevant is that the brewery never became trapped by one particular style. New releases appear constantly, but the core beers remain strong enough to avoid being overshadowed by endless novelty.

Welsh brewing has grown enormously over the last decade, and Tiny Rebel remains one of the breweries most closely associated with that rise.
