Agriverde 'Natum' Montepulciano d'Abruzzo is a red wine from the Abruzzo region of Italy, produced by Agriverde, a winery known for its commitment to organic and sustainable viticulture. The wine is made from 100% Montepulciano grapes, cultivated in clay, sand, and iron-rich soils around Caldari di Ortona .

In the glass, it presents a deep ruby color with violet highlights. The nose offers aromas of red fruits, including plum, blackberry, sour cherry, and raspberry, complemented by notes of violet and black licorice .

On the palate, the wine is dry and medium-bodied, featuring flavors that mirror the nose, such as sour cherry and blackcurrant. It has medium tannins and acidity, providing a balanced structure. The finish is long and soft, with a touch of freshness .

Agriverde 'Natum' is certified organic and vegan, with no animal-derived products used in its production. The winery was among the first in Italy to receive organic certification from ICEA (Institute for Environmental Ethics Certification) .

Agriverde

Style: Winery

Country: Italy

Region: Abruzzo

Agriverde make wines that feel very rooted in central Italy without leaning too heavily on tradition for tradition’s sake. Based in Abruzzo, they work organically and focus on clean, expressive wines that keep plenty of freshness alongside the richer Mediterranean fruit you’d expect from the region. Montepulciano, Pecorino, Trebbiano, all handled with a lighter touch that keeps things energetic and very easy to drink. Proper food wines with loads of warmth and character.
