This exquisite sparkling Chardonnay hails from a thirty-year-old vineyard nestled in the clay and limestone-rich Colli Euganei region. The grapes underwent a three-week maceration on the skins, followed by a period of rest in a vat until the subsequent spring. At that point, the wine was bottled with a touch of juice from the same harvest. The resulting wine boasts a hazy amber hue, with delicate bubbles that carry aromas of stone fruits, chalk, and minerals. This vibrant col fondo is crafted by one of the true masters of the style.
