Blind Summit The Lochend Blend Vol. II | Saint Emilion Wine Barrique

A coastal and fruit-forward blended malt.
Five single malts married together in a Saint Émilion wine barrique. Ledaig and Bunnahabhain meet rich Highland and Speyside from Blair Athol, Tomintoul and Tamnavulin

The nose is nutty and fruit-forward, with notes of yellow plum, red apple, vanilla pod, biscuits, dried red berries and a touch of earth.
The palate is bright and textured. Dried redcurrant, soft oak tannins and orchard fruits sit alongside toasted oak, a little clove spice and coastal saltiness tying it all together.
The finish is balanced and gently drying, with a touch of fruit, smoke and malt lingering.
