The Brasserie des Voirons in Lucinges, Haute-Savoie, France, presents another unique creation in the form of a blonde beer fermented and aged on Chenin Blanc lees sourced from La Grange aux Belles, esteemed winemakers in Anjou. With a brilliant golden hue, this beer boasts fine bubbles and showcases pristine orchard fruit notes, culminating in a long and savory finish. A true homage to the noble Chenin Blanc grape, this beer offers a distinctive drinking experience.

Christophe Grellier, the mastermind behind Brasserie des Voirons, brings his culinary expertise to brewing, having previously worked in renowned establishments such as Tour d’Argent and under Marco Pierre White. Situated in the alpine village of Lucinges, the brewery benefits from the pristine water of Voirons, sourced from the same location as Evian. Certified organic by Nature et Progrès, the brewery upholds a commitment to quality in sourcing the finest ingredients.

The beers from Brasserie des Voirons are known for their luminous and nourishing character, with some varieties aged on the lees of prestigious French wines, including Chenin Blanc, in the same barrels used for wine maturation. Others are infused with citrus, berries, wildflowers, or foraged herbs in sandstone amphorae. Bottled unpasteurized and unfiltered, these beers evolve beautifully over time, offering a delightful and compelling drinking experience.
