Caillez Lemaire Jadis 2010

The wine has a fresh, perfumed nose with a hint of sweet toast. The palate is lovely and layered – complex, salty, and dense with a huge level of concentration. This is impressive for a 10. It's serious, especially on the finish, which shows loads of fresh lemon peel.

Our supplier fell in love with this producer nearly 10 years ago during their first visit. Based in Damery, they have vines in 57 plots across 7 villages, predominantly Meunier. Their wines exhibit a crisp style and age like legends. Recently acquiring the HEV certificate, there is a real honesty to their winemaking and wines.
