This Château Larose Trintaudon wine presents a visually striking deep, intense ruby color with violet hues, offering a glimpse into its richness. On the palate, it unfolds a symphony of sweet spices such as vanilla, cinnamon, and ginger, intricately woven with flavors of blackcurrant, dates, and dried figs. The wine's racy, full-bodied nature is complemented by a well-structured profile, showcasing immense density and power. Its infinite length on the palate is a testament to the excellent balance achieved between fruit, tannins, and acidity. Situated between Saint-Julien-de-Beychevelle and Pauillac, the 190-hectare vineyard benefits from Médoc gravel, particularly the 'Pyrenean layer,' providing similar growing conditions as its esteemed neighbor, Château Latour. Dating back to 1719, Château Larose Trintaudon's winemaking history faced challenges but saw a resurgence in 1963 under Professor Émile Peynaud's guidance. The recent elevation to Cru Bourgeois Supérieur classification in 2018 attests to the property's continued dedication and success.
