Daftmill 2009 15 Year Old Fife Strength 2024

The third Daftmill 15-Year-Old release showcases the brilliance of this Fife-based farm distillery. Francis Cuthbert, a pioneer in distilling with his own highly regarded barley, has crafted another stellar whisky. Made from Optic Barley grown on their south fields, this release consists of just 20 casks—19 ex-bourbon and 1 PX sherry—accounting for a fifth of their annual production. Distilled only during the farm’s off-seasons in winter and summer, Daftmill produces just 100 casks a year, using only barley grown on-site, making it one of Scotland’s smallest and most unique distilleries.
