A Fantastic Red wine appellation Coteaux BourgignonsThe appellation Coteaux Bourgignons allows fruit to be sourced from the greater Burgundy and Beaujolais regions, so sometimes it’s Gamay and sometimes Pinot Noir. This wine is made from 100% Gamay. The estate lies right on the border between Beaujolais and Macon. A really solid family owned Domaine who farm sustainably without insecticides or pesticides and make wines in both Burgundy and Beaujolais. This wine comes from the village of Chasselas where the sandy soil is perfect for Gamay. Supple fruity and fresh, and packed full of red fruit flavours. The palate is silky and harmonious. Try it lightly chilled with charcuterie, Red meats, roasted vegetables and even Turkey
