Hop Beard is Fonta Flora’s signature West Coast-style IPA, crafted with a carefully selected blend of Amarillo, Citra, Mosaic, and Simcoe hops. Mashed with locally sourced barley from Carolina Malt House, along with dextrin malt and a touch of flaked oats, it delivers a balanced yet assertive hop character.

Fermented with the brewery’s preferred clean house IPA yeast strain, Hop Beard undergoes a complete fermentation for a crisp, dry finish and is cold-conditioned to achieve brilliant clarity.

Refined during the extended time in the brewery throughout 2020, this IPA represents a dedication to perfecting classic styles. Now featuring an updated label and an enhanced hop bill, it remains a staple that has been enjoyed for over a decade.
