Forjas del Salnés Rías Baixas Goliardo "Tinto del Mar" 2019
Grown in granitic and sandy soil, these vines are between 150 and 200 years old. Hand-harvested and destemmed, the grapes undergo fermentation on the skins for around 25 days. During the first two days, they are crushed by foot before the juice and skins are transferred to an open tank. The skins are pushed down by hand daily to keep them moist and gently extract tannins. After pressing, the wine is aged for one year in old 225L and 250L barrels.
