Forget Pouilly-Fumé and Sancerre, this Horgelus Sauvignon/Gros Manseng blend costs almost half the price and delivers as much if not more. The 2022 is a bottle filled to the brim with joyfulness and verve. The citrus aromas are so captivating, with hints of fresh grass and nettles alongside a stream, and the palate is so sprightly, but also complete. The Sauvignon Blanc element brings a classic nettle and elderflower zip, while the Gros Manseng gives a gorgeous tropical fruit depth. Endlessly quaffable.
