This single cask Craigellachie was distilled on Valentine’s Day 2014 and spent its final 13 months in a 2nd fill Oloroso hogshead, yielding just 267 bottles. The nose is rich with cloves, cardamom, candied peel, orange zest, sultanas, pastries, and a hint of black truffle. On the palate, juicy apples and conference pears evolve into mango, raisins, and quince jelly, leading to a smooth finish of café latte and crisp brandy snaps.
