Lindores Friar John Cor Chapeter III

Crafted with Lindores’ trademark attention to detail, Chapter III is matured in a mix of ex-Bourbon barrels, Amontillado, and Pedro Ximénez (PX) sherry butts, then married back in the sherry casks for added depth and harmony. Bottled at its natural cask strength of 60.2% ABV, non-chill filtered and with no added colour, this release is a bold expression of authenticity and character. Deep mahogany in colour, it opens with aromas of sweet vanilla, treacle, red apples, runny honey, floral notes, and dried fruits. The palate is velvety and rich with dark syrup, raisins, figs, vibrant spice, dark chocolate, and nutty undertones, leading to a long, warming finish of chocolate fudge and sweet cinnamon.
