Little Pomona - Fomo Eau De Vie

Fomo is a homage to the speciality drink of North Western France in Normandy, Brittany & Maine - Pommeau. This special bottle is made up of several elements, wonderfully crafted and connected together over time. Beginning with the well known Bramley cooking apple, cider made from which had been matured for a few years to allow the bright green acids to mellow. It was then distilled by the renowned Capreolus Distillery.

This Bramley Eau De Vie was then mixed with juice from some of Little Pomona's favourite varieties of apple - Kingston Black, Ellis Bitter, Egremont Russet - and then aged in German Chestnut Barrel. What emerges is an elegant, softly sweet drink, that is rich, fresh and complex. More than that though, the warmth of the spirit, the sweetness of the juice and the spicy herbal notes of the wood become something rather beautiful. After dinner, pair with Tarte Tatin or fine blue cheese. Before dinner, enjoy over ice and a splash of soda!
