Little Pomona - Ripple 2022

They say Egremont Russet is the Chardonnay of the apple world, and it's hard to deny its vinous similarity! This single variety is from the stunning 2022 harvest. Unlike the last vintage of Egremont Russet purely as a single variety this hasn't had the influence of any oak barrels and was fermented only in stainless steel tanks for a cider reflecting the true terroir and character of this fine apple.

Pale lemon in the glass with a gorgeously fragrant nose of jasmine flowers, honey and sugared almonds. The opulence and purity of the vintage is truly dazzling. Super succulent fruit around a core of fine, ripe acid. White peach, melon rind, anise and crystalised lemon peel with a sweet floral perfume playing through it from beginning to end.
