Mills Brewing Standing Beer

Brewed in the summer, Standing Beer undergoes an ambient-temperature ale yeast driven primary fermentation in our coolship. Paired with a winter lager yeast fermented pils, this unique brew is made from barley, spelt, and whole-leaf European hops. After open fermentation and secondary fermentation with indigenous wild yeast and bacteria, it's dry-hopped and bottle conditioned. Expect effervescence, with citrus, stone-fruit, and wood aromas, and a dry, medium-bodied palate with a peppery snap. A blend of Belgian pale, farmhouse ale, and 19th-century IPA, Standing Beer awaits your verdict.
