Moonwake Red IPA

In their quest for new and exciting hops, Moonwake has journeyed to France and discovered the intriguing Barbe Rouge hop (Red Beard), named after a notorious French comic-book pirate. This distinctive hop delivers delicate notes of strawberry, herbs, and red fruits, making it the perfect fit for their Red IPA.

The malt body is crafted with a rich combination of Melanoidin, Double Roasted Crystal, and Carared malts, contributing to the beer's complexity with hints of dried red fruits, caramel, and toffee. To add a tropical twist, El Dorado hops from the US are introduced late in the process, infusing the brew with a burst of tropical fruit. And no pirate tale is complete without a treasure hunt—Moonwake’s latest release, A l’Abordage, is a true treasure waiting to be discovered!
