Pignoletto is a grape indigenous to the Colli Bolognesi. Federico harvests this from young, healthy vines planted over clay and limestone. It is fermented in vat, with a little of the must from the same harvest added to the bottle for the second fermentation. It is aged on its lees and never disgorged. A simple, yet extremely refreshing wine with texture and citrus in spades.

Tasting Notes

This Pignoletto presents a lively and refreshing profile, with pronounced citrus notes of lemon and grapefruit that are complemented by subtle hints of green apple and white peach. The palate is crisp and clean, offering a delicate minerality and a touch of almond on the finish. Its bright acidity and light body make it an excellent choice as an aperitif or paired with light seafood dishes.
