Ross on Wye are back with their seasonal release! 

This is the 2022 edition of Raison d’Être, characterized by its fiery intensity and complexity. Made with 90% Dabinett and 10% Bisquet apples, this vintage includes a higher proportion of barrel fermentation than ever before. The result is a cider with remarkable depth and captivating aromas a blend of bittersweet apple, orchard leaves, and smoky oak cask. Each sip bursts with layers of fruit, delivering a rich mid-palate that features a classic faux sweetness. The Dabinett apple’s herbal notes then soften the mouthfeel, leading to a long, intricate finish with gentle tannic bitterness and a hint of astringency.
