Grapes for the Chianti Rufina 2019 were both hand and machine harvested. Fermentation took place partly in temperature-controlled stainless-steel tanks and partly in cement tanks, at a temperature of 28-30°C. Maceration on skins lasted 30 days with daily pumping over. The wine was then aged for 12 months in a mixture of 25-30 hectolitre French oak barrels and cement tanks. Finally, the wine was blended in tank before bottling.
