Sklep58 - Laurot RED LIGHT 2022

Sklep58 Laurot RED LIGHT 2022 is a natural red wine crafted by the Czech winery Sklep58. This wine is made from the Laurot grape variety, a hybrid developed from Merlot and Seibel, known for its unique characteristics. The wine undergoes spontaneous fermentation and is aged in oak barrels, resulting in a vibrant and expressive profile. It is produced without added sulfur and is unfiltered, aligning with natural winemaking principles. The alcohol content is 12.5%, and production is limited to just 670 bottles. 

Sklep58, founded by winemakers Jakub and Filip, is dedicated to low-intervention winemaking. They source grapes from biodynamic vineyards and employ traditional methods, including manual grape crushing and basket pressing. Fermentation and aging occur in old oak barrels and amphorae, with minimal sulfur added.
