Sklep58 - Partyzan Pet Nat

Sklep58 Partyzán Pét-Nat Laurot 2019 is crafted from hand-harvested grapes grown on 25-year-old vines. Laurot, a fascinating hybrid grape, is the result of multiple crossings—starting with Merlot and Seibel to create Marlan, which was then crossed with Fratava, a blend of Blaufränkisch and St. Laurent.

Pét-Nat, short for "pétillant naturel," refers to an ancient method of producing naturally sparkling wines. This wine is fresh and fragrant, bursting with red berries and currants. On the palate, you'll find crisp red cherries with a hint of bread, leading to a long, aromatic finish. It's lively and easy to drink—so lively, in fact, that it's best opened over a sink!

The Laurot grapes are destemmed and foot-stomped before the fresh juice is transferred to demi-johns for natural fermentation. It's bottled while still fermenting to capture the fizz. This wine is vegan-friendly with no added sulfites.
