Stigbergets Walk the Walk WCIPA

Since visiting the West Coast—the birthplace of this iconic style—we’ve been dreaming of a fresh take on the modern West Coast IPA: crisp, dry, and bitter, yet juicy and irresistibly drinkable. Taking cues from our friends at Green Cheek and Highland Park, we crafted our own version. We used corn and rice for a bright, stripped-back base, and built a soft, rounded mouthfeel with a New England-style water profile. Then we layered in a bold hop bill: classic C-hops bring citrus and pine, while newer varieties add a burst of tropical juiciness.

Tasting notes:
A gentle biscuit maltiness lays the groundwork, with sharp citrus top notes, sticky resin, pine, and flashes of ripe stone fruit. Snappy, clean bitterness hits fast and fades gracefully.
