Bottled from an Octave cask, this bold, cask-strength Mortlach is rich, warming, and unmistakably robust. The nose opens with inviting aromas of brown sugar, golden syrup, orchard fruit, caramel, apricot jam, and orange oil. On the palate, it’s smooth and full-bodied, revealing layers of dried fruits, coconut, cranberry, and a creamy caramel backbone. The finish is long, warm, and complex, with notes of toffee, peach, and a gentle touch of white pepper, all carried by an underlying sweetness that lingers beautifully.
