Alessandro describes this wine as "the perfect Sicilian blend," boasting juicy, thirst-quenching qualities that are quintessentially Mediterranean, with flavors of summer strawberries and liquorice roots. The fruit-forward Nero d'Avola is cultivated in a valley inland near Santa Ninfa, while the rustic Nerello and earthy Perricone hail from Alcamo. These vines are a 10-year-old massal selection from local old vines. Alessandro emphasizes that the Nerello massal does not originate from Etna; the Alcamo variety is distinct and better suited to the region. The grapes were fully destemmed, followed by a week-long maceration, fermentation, and aging in stainless steel.
