The Tardy family has been cultivating grapes in the Rhone Valley for over 150 years, traditionally selling their harvest to the local cooperative. In 1998, Luc Tardy decided to venture into winemaking himself and established Domaine du Murinais. Situated in the Northern Rhone, Crozes-Hermitage encircles the Hermitage AOC and lies just across the river from Saint-Joseph. Domaine du Murinais produces Crozes-Hermitage wines made exclusively from Syrah. Luc's wines are notable for their purity, with minimal use of new oak, featuring flavors of black cherries and a hint of spice.
