Odessos Winery Claret Vetrino Single Vineyard 2023

This vibrant, chillable red is a modern interpretation of the classic 'clairet' style, straddling the line between a light red and a deep rosé. Crafted from 100% Cabernet Franc grown in the stony soils of Vetrino village at 300 meters above sea level, the wine offers a nose rich in red berry aromas, complemented by the grape's characteristic green pepper notes. On the palate, it presents a medium body with soft tannins and fresh acidity, culminating in a pure varietal expression.

Produced with minimal intervention, the wine undergoes spontaneous fermentation and is aged for three months in Bulgarian oak barrels, followed by an additional three months in stainless steel tanks on fine lees. This approach preserves the wine's freshness and highlights its unique terroir.

Ideal for warm summer days, this claret pairs beautifully with tapas, seafood, grilled vegetables, and soft cheeses.
