Pisano Cisplatino Tannat, Progreso

Hailing from the family-run estate of the Pisano Family Wines in Progreso (Canelones), Uruguay, this is a 100% Tannat crafted on clay-calcareous soils just up from the Río de la Plata estuary.

The wine pours a deep ruby colour and opens with aromas of plums, walnuts, spices and fresh mushrooms, followed by blackberries, blueberries and raisins on the palate. 

It’s matured for 3–4 months in French oak barrels, giving it soft smoky touches and a smooth structure while still retaining freshness and vibrancy. Perfect with grilled meats, lamb, hearty pasta or mature cheeses—an expressive Uruguayan red with personality and purity.
