Simple Things X Dookit Double Dark Mild

STF and Dookit come together to create a strong, dark Mild Ale. A deliciously well rounded beer with rich, velvety mouthfeel and big chocolate-dark fruit flavours. Maris Otter forms the foundation of a grist composed of nine different grains, offering a complex, layered flavour profile with notes of biscuit, dried fruit and toffee. Madagascan cacao husks supplied by Glasgow’s Bare Bones are used both in the mash and the boil to bring sweet milk chocolate and cherry, with Bramling Cross and Monroe hops delivering a subtle strawberry and blackcurrant hit. A true contemporary Mild infused with the character of both breweries, combining the best of modern and traditional approaches to the style.
