Vin des Potes Côtes-du-Rhône “Bloom” x Rémi Pouizin

Bloom CDR Blanc Vin des Potes is a natural white wine from the Rhône Valley, made with fruit from Rémi Pouizin’s vineyards in Visan. This vibrant blend of local grapes, with a generous portion of Viognier, is bursting with fresh summer fruit. Like its label, it offers a lively mix of tropical, green, and citrus notes, with an underlying touch of confectioner’s cream that gives a soft, elegant finish. A delightful choice for a plate of shellfish.  

Vin des Potes wines are always natural and organic, crafted with care from select parcels of grapes. This particular vintage, from 2022, is made from Clairette, Grenache Blanc, and Viognier, grown on clay and limestone soils. Fermented naturally and matured for six months in steel, it has a bright, medium-bodied character with a dry, fresh profile. With an alcohol content of 12% ABV and total sulphur levels kept below 50 mg/litre, it is a pure expression of its terroir, produced in small batches of up to 5,000 bottles. While fresh and vibrant now, it has the potential to age for 5–6 years.  

Basile Passe and Yoan Tavares, the duo behind Le Vin des Potes, come from diverse backgrounds—Basile from IT consultancy and Yoan from the world of fine dining. Their paths crossed while working in wine shops, and their shared passion led them to create wines that embody friendship, collaboration, and gastronomy. They work closely with winemakers they admire, selecting parcels of naturally grown grapes to craft unique, small-production wines that may or may not be repeated each year. Their hospitality experience informs their winemaking style, ensuring each wine has balance, freshness, and the depth to shine in top-end gastronomy, particularly their rosés, which are crafted with a distinct gastronomic approach.
