Whisky Craft Untamed Islay 8 Year Old

This 8 year old Islay was created at an undisclosed distillery, though it still reveals all the classic rich, peaty and smoky notes of those famous coastal distilleries.

It was aged in a refill octave cask for 8 years, before being bottled at 57.3% with no chill filtration and no added colour. Bottle number 67 of a limited run of only 69.

Nose – Complex and rugged, with old leather, cigar smoke, and coastal notes. Sweet barbecue tones cut through the peat, adding depth and intrigue.

Palate – Smooth and balanced, opening with a touch of sweetness before spice and smoky barbecue flavours take hold.

Finish –  Rich and lingering, with a bold mix of smoke, spice, and subtle sweetness.
