Abyss are one of those breweries that feel properly plugged into modern UK craft beer without losing their own identity along the way. Brewing out of Lewes in Sussex, they lean heavily into soft, hop-forward pales and IPAs, but there’s always a bit of personality running through the range, bold artwork, big flavour, and beers that still remember to be genuinely drinkable. Hazy pales, crisp lagers, punchy IPAs, the occasional stout or sour, all built with a good balance between fun and precision. The kind of brewery that’s very easy to keep going back to.
