We're Talking Farmhouse & Wild Beers!

Farmhouse and wild beers celebrate brewing at its most traditional and expressive. Farmhouse styles, such as saison and bière de garde, were originally brewed for everyday drinking, with characterful yeast, refreshing acidity and a dry finish making them incredibly food-friendly. Wild beers take things a step further, using mixed cultures of yeast and bacteria to create layers of earthy funk, gentle tartness and evolving complexity. This is also where you'll find some of Belgium's most celebrated beers, including lambic and gueuze, alongside a growing number of mixed fermentation beers from breweries around the world.

No two beers in this category are quite the same. Some are bright and refreshing, others are deeply savoury, oak-aged and built for slow sipping. Many continue to develop in the bottle over time, rewarding a bit of patience. If you enjoy beers with plenty of personality and a real sense of place, farmhouse and wild beers are some of the most fascinating styles you'll come across.
