Collection: Saison & Grisette

Saison began life as a farmhouse beer in the French-speaking part of Belgium, brewed during the cooler months and kept back to quench the thirst of seasonal workers through the summer. Modern examples have come a long way from those roots, but the style is still all about refreshment. Expect a dry finish, lively carbonation and plenty of character from expressive yeast, bringing notes of pepper, citrus, herbs and gentle spice. Some lean crisp and delicate, others are rustic, funky and full of personality, but the best Saisons always leave you wanting another sip. They're brilliant with food, surprisingly versatile, and one of the most rewarding beer styles to explore.
