More About Babalù, Sicilia Rosso

A bright, juicy Sicilian red made from 85% Nero d'Avola and 15% Syrah, grown at 200 to 300 metres above sea level. The vineyards benefit from cooling night-time temperatures and strong island winds, which help keep the fruit fresh rather than pushing it into the jammy, overripe territory you can sometimes find in warm-climate reds. It's fermented in stainless steel with no oak, keeping the focus firmly on the fruit.
