Florent Thinon is part of a new generation putting the Côte Roannaise firmly back on the map. Working organically on the region's granite slopes, he makes Le Rouge from 100% Gamay Saint-Romain, using indigenous yeasts, partial whole-bunch fermentation and ageing in concrete to let the fruit and terroir shine. The result is vibrant, juicy and packed with energy, proving there's far more to Loire Gamay than simple glou-glou wines.
