Giesinger's Festbier is a proper Munich take on the style from one of the city's newer breweries. Brewed with Munich water, barley malt and hops, it comes in at 6% with a solid 13.8° Plato starting gravity. The brewery keeps the recipe deliberately straightforward, letting the malt and fermentation do the work rather than piling on loads of hop character.
