More About HIP Tomintoul 12 Year Old 20cl

A classic Speyside malt in a handy 20cl format, this independently bottled Tomintoul showcases the distillery's elegant, easy-going style. Matured for 12 years in American oak and bottled by Hart Brothers without chill filtration or added colour, it's a wonderfully balanced whisky with plenty of orchard fruit, soft vanilla and gentle oak spice. The smaller bottle makes it an ideal way to explore an independent bottling before committing to a full-size release.

Fresh and approachable on the nose, it opens with ripe pear, honey and vanilla before developing notes of toasted almonds, citrus peel and creamy malt. The palate is smooth and rounded, bringing together orchard fruit, butterscotch and subtle baking spice, finishing long with soft oak and a delicate sweetness that lingers.

Meet the Producer, HIP

HIP

Style: Independent Bottlers

HIP is Hart Brothers' range of 20cl independent bottlings, giving you the chance to explore exceptional whisky and rum without committing to a full-size bottle. Whether it's a smoky Islay malt, an elegant Speyside or a beautifully aged Caribbean rum, each release is selected with the same care and attention that's made Hart Brothers one of Scotland's most respected independent bottlers.

Perfect for tasting, gifting or building your own flight at home, the HIP range makes discovering new distilleries, cask styles and independent bottlings a little easier. Every bottle is natural in colour, non-chill filtered where appropriate, and chosen to let the spirit speak for itself.
