Huia Vineyards Stoneweaver Pinot Noir

Huia Vineyards Stoneweaver Pinot Noir is a Marlborough (Omaka Valley), New Zealand Pinot Noir sourced from vines planted on glacial outwash soils of clay and stony gravels that give the wine both fruit intensity and textural grip. The grapes are gently destemmed and fermented before ageing for around 11 months in French oak, with spontaneous malolactic fermentation adding softness and complexity.

In the glass it shows a dark cherry-red colour with a pronounced bouquet of dark red cherries and plum, complemented by vanilla, spice and subtle oak. The palate follows with rich dark-cherry and red-berry fruit flavours, balanced acidity and a gentle oak presence that integrates seamlessly into the fruit profile, giving the wine an elegant yet expressive character.
