Meet the Producer, Kwenched

Style: RTD Cocktails

Kwenched took one look at canned cocktails and decided they probably didn’t all need to taste like fluorescent regret. The brand focuses on ready-to-drink saké cocktails, blending Japanese saké with real fruit and fresh ingredients in a way that feels much cleaner and lighter than the usual sugary canned cocktail situation.

The Spicy Saké Margarita has become the headline act. Lime, chilli heat and fresh citrus all sitting on top of smooth Japanese saké instead of tequila, which sounds odd until you try it and realise it weirdly works brilliantly. The Strawberry Daiquiri follows the same idea, keeping things fruity without collapsing into liquid sweets.

Part of the appeal is that the drinks still feel fresh and quite grown-up compared to loads of RTD cocktails. Less sticky nightclub can, more “surprisingly good thing somebody handed you at a barbecue”.

The whole brand also leans heavily into that modern lower-intervention drinking mindset. Still fun, still social, just slightly less punishing the next morning.

Which honestly feels sensible after a certain age.
